Who we are
Maxxi Childcare has been set up by very experienced individuals in the sector. Our aim is to provide a secure happy environment for all children who come to Maxxi Childcare and our goal is to achieve ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted for all our Nurseries. This can only be achieved by reinvestment of profits in good staff, continual training and the facilities.
Our Journey to date.
We opened our first nursery in 2008-2009 which then grew to over 450 spaces in a group of Nurseries across London. Qualified managers and deputy managers manage the Nurseries on a day-to-day basis. The Director, Accounts and Administration (HR) departments offer further support. The Group employed 135 members of staff, and the team was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted on several occasions.
Our business plan for the next 10+ years.
Our Business plan is to find the best sites, in the best locations. Our growth plans are based on quality rather than quantity. Our aim is to become the premium brand in London and the South East, whilst still being affordable to our clients.
Previous Projects.
Royal Arsenal Riverside
We took the property on in Shell and Core condition. During lease and nursery registration we worked closely with the developer, Berkeley Homes and the Local Authority, Royal Borough of Greenwich. We underwent full scrutiny by way of inspections of our existing nurseries as well as a formal interview with the Early Years department.
We negotiated with the local authority and early years team in order to get Partnership agreement in place with R.B. Greenwich.
As part of the 25-year lease we committed to spending a considerable amount on the fit out and committed to achieving an excellent Breeam rating.
After opening the nursery we continued to work closely with the Landlord, Local Community and the Early Years Department, who used us as a Centre of Excellence. We were rated as Outstanding by Ofsted on two occasions, once was on a surprised unannounced visit. Recently we were successful in getting planning permission for a new large canopy which covers part of the outside play area. The project was approved by Landlord, planning department and successfully installed by our contractor.

Maxxi Childcare.
We proudly specialise in both start-up nurseries, as well as acquisitions, doing the necessary integration with a soft approach and getting the setting registered successfully with Ofsted. We enjoy working closely with the landlord, seller, local authority and community to set up the best nurseries.
We are currently looking to expand across London and the South East.
